Marcus O’Halloran
Title: Executive Director
Marcus took over at Agri Aware in February 2020. It was a challenging start as just weeks later the global coronavirus pandemic took hold. However, he has managed to build and grow the organisation and the team through this testing time.
Marcus is an Agricultural Science graduate from UCD and before arriving at Agri Aware spent four years with the IFA as a regional executive.
Home is in South Tipperary where Marcus’s family have a mixed dairy and beef farm.
Aimée Gray
Title: General Manager
Aimée is the Education Development Manager for Agri Aware. She is principally interested in sustainable food systems and bridging the 'gap' between humans and nature.
Aimée is a graduate of the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science Centre with an MSc in Wildlife Conservation and Management with considerable teaching experience at primary, secondary and tertiary levels.
In her previous employment, Aimée has worked in science communication and research roles and has published in both peer-reviewed and scholarly journals.
Róisín Byrne
Title: Education Officer
Róisín is a graduate of the UCC School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences. She has worked in the agricultural science sector since then.
Prior to joining the team, Róisín worked in science research and communication roles and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
Róisín’s focus is ensuring the effective transfer of knowledge to all age groups and is committed to engaging young people in agricultural science and food production.
Robert Corroon
Title: Education & Events Officer
Robert began with Agri Aware in March 2023, having previously spent some time with the Irish Farmers Journal on the marketing team.
Robert is a SETU graduate with a degree in Land Management and is now continuing his studies part-time with an MSc in Organic & Biological Agriculture.
When at home in Meath, Robert is working with his customer base of farmers providing relief milking and grassland services along with re-building his own family farm.
Michael Geary
Title: Education & Communications Officer
Dillon Rogers
Title: Office & Accounts Administrator
Dillon joined the Agri Aware team in September of 2023. After graduating from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in Zoology, Dillon has worked in educational roles in Seal Rescue Ireland, Emerald Park, and with the Office of Public Works. He is committed to educating youth about the world around them, particularly in the fields of sustainability as it relates to agriculture, and the processes involved in Farm to Fork food production.
Ashley Traynor
Title: Farm Safety Officer
Ashley joined the Agri Aware team in February 2024. Prior to joining the team, Ashley worked in various areas of the agri-food sector with Kiernan Milling, Lakeland Dairies and FDC Group.
Ashley is a graduate of DkIT with a degree in Agricultural Science and she recently completed her Masters in Agricultural Extension and Innovation with UCD.
She has a keen interest in providing effective knowledge transfer and supporting behaviour change with all age groups, particularly in the area of farm safety.
