Dig In!
The Dig in! resource pack contains 32 lesson plans which are all intrinsically linked to the Science, Geography and SPHE (Social, Personal and Health Education) curricula. The lessons deal with the subjects of Irish Farming, Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Poultry, Fruit and Vegetables, Cereals and Grasses and Healthy Eating.
It contains important farming information, “did you know?” facts, activity sheets and much more. Innovative classroom activities including research, creative art, observation, seed planting and hands-on experiments like how to make butter from cream in the classroom are suggested for each lesson.
