Forget burying your head in schoolbooks. Leaving Cert students in the know are burying their heads in the newspaper!
The ‘Ag Science Study Guide' which is run by Agri Aware and IASTA, features weekly in the Irish Farmers Journal over the course of the academic year and is written by Ag Science teachers from across the country.
The Study Guide which has now increased to TWO PAGES provides current, up-to-date information to thousands of Ag Science students. The extended feature now includes exam information, bigger diagrams and useful experiments!
Subscribed schools will get their copies of the Irish Farmers Journal delivered to their school or nearest newsagents every Thursday morning. Also included in the subscription is a free copy of our ‘A-Z Dictionary of Essential Ag Science Terms.' This 48 page, full colour booklet explains all the key terms which students need for their Leaving Cert exam. Teachers also get four full colour posters for their classrooms detailing the calendar year of four different farm enterprises including Dairy, Beef, Sheep and Tillage.
Subscribed teachers also get online access to Study Guides from the last four years. To access, simply enter the user name and password you were supplied in the letter that accompanied your free resources.
